This section explains how to add content and details the elements that make up your block.
Overview
Now we can begin to build our block by adding content specific to each block type. The goal here is to keep block consistency so that we don't confuse our users and so that they know exactly what they are getting.
Block content element, Description, and the basic element
Title
The title of the event page.Â
Headline or Text elements.
Sub-title
The sub-title of the event page.Â
Headline or Text elements.
Description
The description of the event page.Â
Text element.
Logo
For added branding to the event page.Â
The Image or Square elements.Â
RSVP Button
The main button for collecting RSVPs.
The Button element.
Date
The event date.Â
The Date element.
Venue
This is the event location.Â
The Venue element.
Event Image
This is the event image.
The image element or the background image on the Cover Block.Â
Color Overlay
This element is strictly ascetic.
The Color Overlay element.
Step 1
Adding Content Elements
If you haven't added any elements just Hover inside of the block's Content Container and click the green [+] add Element Button.
Once you've added an element, in this case a simple headline, you can begin to add more elements by clicking the circle (+) Add Element button. Use this option if you want to insert an Element between other elements.
Or click the (+) Add Element button in the Layout Pane. Use this option if you want to insert an Element at the bottom of your block content.
Remember to click Save!
Step 2
Organizing your block
In the Right Tool Bar, click Layout
Click the blue [+] Add a Block button
Click Building Blocks
Click Empty Block
An Empty Block has now been added to the bottom of your Layout Tree
